Hi, I am Giorgio!

Praised for his “lustrous tone” by Musical America, Italian flutist Giorgio Consolati has performed at Carnegie Hall, the Kimmel Center, the Marlboro Music Festival, as well as in Europe and China. He appeared as a concerto soloist with Alan Gilbert and the Juilliard Orchestra, and with the National Repertory Orchestra. Giorgio is currently the principal flute of the York Symphony Orchestra and a faculty associate at the Peabody Institute in Baltimore. Highlights of upcoming performances include a solo appearance with Marina Piccinini and the HSO Orchestra, chamber music concerts in New Jersey, New York state and Philadelphia, and teaching in the summer at MPIMC in Switzerland and at the Music Conference and Composers' Forum at Colgate University
